CC3235MODSF: Pin 25, 26, and 29 must now be GNDed

Hi,

We are evaluating the cc3235modsf to replace the cc3200 and cc3220 on our products.According the documentation, the only non compatible pins would be:

Pin 25, 26, and 29 must now be GNDed

On our current design the 3 pins are not connected.

Can you confirm whether it's a real issue to leave them floating?

Note: It's just for a quick test with a few samples, we will anyway rework the board for the production serie.

Hi Cedric,

I'm assuming you meant that the CC3235MOD will be replacing CC3200MOD and CC3220MOD and not QFN packages, right?

If that's the case, then yes you should be able to drop in the CC3235MOD in your current design and leave those pins floating with no issue.

Yes I meant the CC3200MOD and CC3220MOD.
