CC3220SF-LAUNCHXL: Error while building the Project

Hi,

I was struggling to debug an example project on IAR from the cc3220 SDK. After all things tried I decided to uninstall and reinstall the IAR. When I did so I am getting an error while building examples.

Also for a freertos example the rtos kernal is not getting attached to the project by itself when I open the project. Earlier before uninstalling IAR I could see the freertos kernal coming up as a part of project by itself.

I am attaching screenshots of the error and my settings. Please help me with this. In the first screen shot you can see the error and the freertos part not attached in the project

Hi Vince,

So I had added the custom_args at the beginning also and as written in the post which you shared above it says to place the workspace under sdk/tools/iar. I did it but no use. The error still persists. Yesterday I was able to build a nortos program successfully after changing some paths but the rtos programs still don't build.

My guess is it is because that the Rtos kernal part is not coming up with the project automatically so there are no rtos files that the project is dependent on. That is why the below error is showing up.

Please let me know what I should do to get the rtos come up with the project and I am pretty sure if that happens then the error will be solved by itself.

Let's do a complete fresh install of both IAR and SimpleLink SDK. Go ahead and unistall both, perform a restart of the computer, and reinstall. Please be sure to peform all steps listed here: http://dev.ti.com/tirex/content/simplelink_cc32xx_sdk_2_40_01_01/docs/simplelink_mcu_sdk/Quick_Start_Guide.html#quickstart-for-iar-ide
