Hello All,

I am trying for MQTT implementations by using alternative secured tunnels (e.g. SSH) through the use of SOCKS(SOCKSV5), I wanted to use SOCKS, which should support both anonymous and user-name password authenticating SOCKS proxies

Please, suggest to implement above.

Hi Rohit,

We are not supporting SOCKS. You can look for SOCKS software and use it on top of the standard TCP (simplelink) Socket.

You can then try to change the mqtt client to use this (instead of using directly the MQTT port) or use an external solution for that.

Hi,

I'm not familiar with SOCKS stack and as i mentioned we are not supporting one.

If this is a strict requirement for you, you should find a SOCKS stack and port it to CC3200.
