I am running through the Wi-Fi Over-the-Air Ti training academy lab found here:

The issue I encounter is during task 3: Running the OTA Application. Up to this point I've followed instructions accordingly (I believe) since I see the device connect to my local access point and repeatedly ping the gateway. The instructions state to press SW2 to start the OTA process and after this I get 5 connection tries that all fail with the same error code (see screen shot below).

Does anyone know why I am seeing these errors and how to fix this?

I believe the error above had to do with the AP I was using to provision the device. The connection was refused (error -111 for socket connection) but changing to a different AP for provisioning made that error go away. Now the error is -456 which is a bad CA file I think.

I've downloaded the common name for the root CA file provided by SSL Scanner, renamed it, placed it in the correct directory and referenced it in otauser.h file but still get the same error.

This is resolved. The last issue was due to not having the Common Name CA file in flash memory of my Ti SimpleLink CC3220 device. The instructions for completing task 2 in the Wi-Fi OTA lab weren't immediately apparent but to get the OTA flash process to work correctly required having a previous lab 'network_terminal...' flashed into memory as well as the Common Name CA added as a user file.
