Porting Linux Gateway to other platform

I understand the HA linux gateway has to be run on the BeagleBone Black dev board.

Is it possible to port it to other linux hardware platform, or simply run it on ubuntu PC/server?

I know the source code is not available. In that case, a rewrite of the codes is viable?

due to the enormous amount of requests to run the code on other Linux platforms than BBB, we are considering several options.

Please contact a local TI representative to make a request to access the source code.
