Hello,

I want to implement battery based zigbee (cc2530)module for my application.My problem is my End device cc2530 send continuously request if not find any router and can not go in to sleep mode.Hence, my battery consumption is contentious and life of battery reduce.i m using Zstack 1.0.Please provide solution for it.

My next question is Zstack 3.0 is compatible with Zstack 1.0....Thanks in Advance

This is handled inside ZDApp.c and the appropriate definitions, please refer to the following threads:

I would recommend evaluating Z-Stack 3.0 as well since it improves upon several existing bugs and handling of orphan states.

If Z-Stack 1.0 means Z-Stack mesh 1.0.0, you can refer to how ZDApp.c in Z-Stack Home 1.2.2a implements backoff during end device losing connection with its parent node. By default settings, Z-Stack 3.0.0 is not compatible to Z-Stack mesh 1.0.0. You need to enable TC_LINK_KEY security on Z-Stack mesh and revise profile/cluster support to make Z-Stack 1.0.0 compatible to Z-Stack 3.0.0
