my customer is migratiing zstack-2.3.0 to zstack-3.0.2.

1. Can he use multiple profiles with zstack 3.0.2? He asks if the HA profile and the manufacturer profile can be implemented in a coordinator.

2. in the zstack-2.3.0, how to use two manufacturer profile id in a coordinator?

3. He is not member of appliance zigbee now. can you give me a zigbee 3.0 specification file?

4. Please tell me how to check the stack version in zigbee packet.

1&2. I don’t think it’s feasible to use two profile in a coordinator.

3. You can search on Zigbee Alliance which would find some spec files for public download.

4. Are you asking Z-Stack version or Zigbee version?

In the below, I was checked zigbee packet, but that's zigbee pro.

Hi robin,

Incoming packets check the Zigbee Protocol Version inside of pre-built source libraries not shared in the release. For Z-Stack, the nwkProtocolVersion saved in the NIB is set by ZB_PROT_VERS/ZB_PROT_V1_1in nwk_globals.h and is recommended to be kept as 2 per the Zigbee Specification.

Hi Sir,

The customer is just me.

My question is how to identify between zigbee pro and zigbee 3.0.

So far my understanding is tha the zigbee versions for zigbee pro and zigbee 3.0 are the same which is v2.0.

because zigbee 3.0 is based on zigbee pro.

Am I right?

question] As far as I know, the purpose of zigbee3.0 is to integrate all of profiles which means one coordinator can interoperate with any device with any profile.

Am I wrong?

ANS] I have already tried to find it on zigbee alliance. But I can't find any zigbee 3.0 related materails.

If you know it, please let me know the link.

1. &2. Basically, Zigbee 3.0 still uses HA profile ID as it’s base.

Hi Danny,

Zigbee 3.0 is part of the Zigbee PRO Specification and is compatible with legacy profiles such as Home Automation. You can differentiate between 3.0 device by how they communicate on the network, for example requesting a TC Link Key update during commissioning.
