I used TI Bluetooth stack v1.5 R2 for HID Demo application. From the code I was not able to determine either EDR or GFSK modulation is used in this example. 

Is there a way to verify the modulation type used?

    Hi Andrew,

    Whether a BT link will use BR (GFSK) or EDR (2-EDR/3-EDR) rates, is not determined by any settings on the profile or application layer. When two BT devices connect, the data rate / modulation type will be negotiated at the LMP layer and the fastest possible modulation will be used by the connection. This is not something that is controlled or accessed from the higher layers (like the HID profile).
