CRC calculation on CC1310

The default CRC for the radio is a 16-bit CRC with the polynomial x16 + x15 + x2 + 1 and initialization of all 1s. Other polynomials, lengths, and initializations can be obtained by parameter overrides. It is not straight forward how this can be done, so if you can specify what CRC you are interested in we can see if this can be supported or not.

We want to check the integrity of my application data, so we want to used CRC to do that. For example,  when  we write the data, we calculate a CRC value for my data; when we read, calculate a CRC value again and compare previous one.

I think the CRC16 you mentioned is for RF part and it seems that it can not used by my application for data integrity.

So is there any other methods to do CRC or check integrity for my application data.

I do not think so. The only other CRC available is the COMMAND_CRC32 (bootloader command).

Are there any comments for MACRO HapiCrc32 that is defined in ROM.h in CC1310 SDK.

Can you show me the overrides that would be necisary to use polynomial 0x5935 (x^16+x^14+x^12+x^11+x^8+x^5+x^4+x^2+1) ?

Please add the following to the overrides list to initialize CRC polynomial as mentioned in your post.

0x59350000, // Set 16 bit CRC(value), 16 bits MSB is the CRC ploynomial
0xFFFF0163, // CRC initialization, 16 bits MSB used for CRC initilization

I had to modify it a bit, and I think my comments are correct, but here is what ended up working for me:

These are just different ways to achive the same result. Your overrides and comments look OK too.
