Dear All, 

WE use the same CCS5.03 for a project holding SITARA 335x and 6678 multi-core DSP.  The CCS is installed on a Linux 86x64 machine.

How to install the relevant LInux and software tools?

Can we use the compiler supplied with the CCS?

    You can get the latest SDK installer from this link for the am335x processor. You will need to use the tool chain that comes with the SDK for Linux applications as well as kernel builds. You can set up CCS to use the tool chain for the application build, but you will need to build the kernel per the instructions in the SDG outside of CCS.
