Hi,

I am supposed to add support for TCA6424 for a keypad interface. I need some help in getting started. I have TCA6416 as reference. Can someone state which points i should take into consideration while referring TCA6416. except 16 bit & 24bit difference.

Please if someone also can provide links for the suggested drivers to port for Am3359 linux kernel 2.6.35.

Hi Hrishikesh,

TCA6424 has an I2C interface so it should be recognized by Linux when probing the I2C interface where the device is connected. As for kernel 2.6.35 - this is a very old kernel version which is no longer supported.

Hi thank Biser for your response. I have tca6416 example in the same kernel. Can i take the reference and get started. Please suggets your views.

Yes of course. The differences between the two devices should be minimal.
