Yes I have tried. The initialization is also different for production and beta versions in U-boot source code which you have made available on your website.

can you give me more details on what is not working?  I downloaded the GELs from http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/OMAP_and_Sitara_CCS_support

and it works for my v1.2 EVM.

I am having trouble in connecting my board to ccs. Then, as a workaround, I modified these GEL files and used them in my source code and used a third party IDE. Everything went OK but after executing the SDRAM initialization routine, when I try to excess the SDRAM, I get data abort exception and invalid memory error.

Muhammad, i think we need to go back to understanding why your ccs isn't working.  What error are you getting?  What JTAG pod are you using?

Actually problem was somewhere else. I was not registering the SDRAM address space in the MMU and when I accessed that memory, though it was correctly initialized, I was getting Data Abort exception which is understandable.

As far as CCS is concerned, I do not know why it was not working. The error was something like

"Target is held in reset. Take it out of reset".

After searching the wiki, I just bypassed the cortex-M core and the error vanished.
