Hello All,

We are doing a custom board based on AM4377 TI processor.

We have TI AM437x IDK and TI AM437x GP EVM with us.

We are trying to boot from SD in our custom board with (TI SYSBIOS MLO).

Its booting successfully IDK and GPEVM, but not booting from SD in our custom board

Difference between the custom board and IDK is RAM size

Please suggest me as soon as possible.

You may need to tune the EMIF/DDR register settings in u-boot, use the following guide:

Hi Yordan,

When we load qspi_flash_writer program to our custom board using TIAM437x_IDK GEL files in CCS which has IDK RAM configurations
it is working fine.

We trying just to boot MLO from SD boot. Is ram size change matters to boot MLO ?

How it is working fine if we load IDK GEL files ?

The MLO needs to configure the DDR controller according to the connected RAM.

If the qspi_flash_writer program works when loading via the IDK GEL files, but not from MLO boot from SD card, then it suggests the DDR configuration in the MLO may be incorrect.

Can you compare the DDR configuration in the MLO source code against that in the IDK GEL files?
