hello dear ti friends..

i want to use the timer5(L22 pin) as pwm in my am4378 board. (my board is based on AM437x-sk-evm)

i modifyed my dts file.

But nothing happened to my board. As follows.

How can I use timer5 as pwm?
And is there a library for using pwm?

In qt5.6.2 we will use pwm to sound the buzzer.

help me plz..

Hi,

There are no PWM drivers in the Linux SDK, as far as I know. There is a PWM driver that uses one PWMSS eCAP unit: processors.wiki.ti.com/.../Linux_Core_PWM_User's_Guide

I wonder if the contents of the document can be done through timer5 (L22 pin).

No, the PWM driver uses an entirely different peripheral - PWMSS eCAP module. Of course you could rewrite the driver to fit your requirements, but this is out of the scope of support of this forum.

Yes, this is the pin used in the AM437x GP EVM.
