RTOS/AM5728: PTP support in EMAC driver for TI RTOS

our question relates to general EMAC, not PRU-ICSS EMAC.

Is there PTP time synchronization support in the existing TI RTOS EMAC driver?
If not, is such support planned in the future?

For general EMAC, PTP 1588 time synchronization support is embedded in hardware IP - CPTS module, and the CPTS functions are supported in CSL, please refer to emac\examples\cptsEventExample\src\cpts_event_test.c for the CPTS/CSL and PTP1588 packet transfer usage.

according to /ti/csl/csl_cpts.h file CPTS is not supported for AM572x  SOC.

Do you see error when using the CPTS CSL functions for AM572x? If so, please try to include ti/csl/src/ip/cpsw/V3/csl_cpts.h, see src_files_cpsw.mk in packages\ti\csl\src\ip\cpsw:

Directories ti/csl/src/ip/cpsw/V0, V1, V2 and V4 contain files csl_cptsAux.h with CSL_CPTS_* procedures (e.g. CSL_CPTS_popEvent).

Directory ti/csl/src/ip/cpsw/V3 does not contain csl_cptsAux.h file.

File ti/csl/src/ip/cpsw/V3/cslr_cpts.h also does not contain CSL_CPTS_* procedures.

We check both version of SDK (3.3 and 4.0). Anywhere situation are the same.
Where can we get working examples with all required files?

I am checking internally to find out why the CSL_CPTS_* funcitons are missed for AM57x...

We are moving away from aux layer header file approach. It's likely we will include a CPTS example in later PDK release. At this point, you probably have to refer to the CPTS CSL functions for other processor and move forward.

We need to understand when solution will be provided? When next PDK will be released?
We need to make these functions on AM5728 because it's one of requirements in project.
