Linux/AM3357: Modbus TCP/IP support

Hi team,

While reviewing documentation for AMM3357, one protocol that I noticed you don’t support is Modbus TCP/IP. Is there anyway I could add this to the co-processor? If not, could I implement this as code in the Linux user space?

Brian,

There are a few different ways you could approach this.

One would be to leverage the open source community and use something like libmodbus.

Since our SDK provides a socket interface, you could absolutely implement it yourself as a User Space App/Driver.

If you would like to leverage the PRU-ICSS for Ethernet, you should take a look at the documentation here:
