Hi Steve,

I am responding for Andy because he is on travel and asked me to.

He is using an OLD OLD version of CCS because the project was inherited from a very old source.  Upgrading CCS doesn't seem to be an option for him.  Will CCS v5.5 accept and support CCS v2.21 projects?

What are his options if he cannot upgrade CCS?

CCS v2.x to CCSv5.5 import might be non-trivial. I recommend posting a query on the CCS forums to see if they can guide that aspect of this discussion

Hello,  I appreciate the responses guys, but could I please ask that we stay away from a CCS upgrade conversation?  That's just not possible at this moment in time.  The customer really needs to determine the answer of the 2MB memory map issue he has.

Currently using CCS v2.21 and Kernel DSP/BIOS 4.90.270 on TMS320VC5502 Processor. I have a 2MB flash but for some reason as I add more code and the updated flash file goes past 1056kB, the unit running the new code does not continue the boot loading process and it halts.   Is this related to the memory map file and if so, how can I change the memory mapping?

  Did they try Erase the complete flash and rewrite flash with the new code.
