Hello all,
Vin=50V,Vout=24V
First normal start, about 1-2s once repeated switch unable to start. At this time, the input voltage drops to about 26V.
Schematic:
Waveform:
Yellow channel output voltage
Blue channel input voltage
The green channel is driven by the lower tube. When the input voltage drops to about 26V, it will be powered on again, and it will not work.
When it not work, re-power on, measure UVLO voltage about 2.3V, VCC 7.4V, SS 4.7V or so
What could be the cause of this?
Hi Vickers,
I notice there is a dropped-down version of the output applied to VCC. Note that Vin mist always be above VCC so that the internal diode from VCC to Vin does not conduct. Does the issue occur if the external VCC is disconnected?
Also, please fill out the LM5117 quickstart calculator Excel file (available by download from the product folder under Design and Development) so we can review component selection.
Regards,
Tim
