Emulator connection to arm cores of evmk2h.

Hi.

I am using 66k2h and ccsv5.5.

I got a problem while trying to connect other arm cores(a15) by 560v2 emulator in windows ccsv5.5.

I could access only a master arm a15 core normally.

please refer to a picture below.

How can i connect to arm cores? is it impossible in winows ccs version?

and what does PRSC mean?

Hi,

the A15 cores 1-3 or in powerdown after startup. You can enable them and setup PLL easily using the GEL file you can find in:

CCS_INSTALL_DIR\ccs_base\emulation\boards\xtcievmk2x\gel

When you're using the GEL-File (details on usage http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/GEL) use the function

TETRIS_POWERUP_AND_PLL_INIT

Hi Sun-Gu Lee,

In K2H EVM in the u-boot prompt, first power up the core using "mon_power" command and then connect it to CCS.

For example, ( for ARM core 3 )

#tftpboot 0x0c5f0000 skern-keystone-evm.bin

#mon_install 0x0c5f0000

#mon_power 3 1
