using the co processor in c6670 for dft/fft

hi all,

can you help me in understanding the co processor in c6670 Multicore DSP. I am using CCSv5. Is it possible while using the simulator, or is it possible only using the board?  i've to pass some samples to the fft co processor.

or providing me any relevant manual for the same is sufficient.

Thanks in advance

  • Welcome to the TI E2E forum. I hope you will find many good answers here and in the TI.com documents and in the TI Wiki Pages (for processor issues). Be sure to search those for helpful information and to browse for the questions others may have asked on similar topics (e2e.ti.com).

We do not know about simulator support of FFTC however please refer the FFTC user guide (sprugs2) and FFTC example project available in MCSDK for more information.

Please find the download and user guide links below my signature.

    Thank you.

  • Hi  Rajasekharan,

thanks for the link. But the MCSDK page

    http://software-dl.ti.com/sdoemb/sdoemb_public_sw/bios_mcsdk/latest/index_FDS.html

shows different packages. i am using CCS v5 and windows 7. which one should i download? i am using C programming language.i need an example program that demonstrates what commands to use for accessing the co processor. can i collect samples from the co processor and use them again ?

    regards,
