Why processor-sdk-linux-k2l package does have 66AK2LX device?!!

When i search 66AK2L06 device by ti site, i have the following links:

In these pages it is recommended to install "processor-sdk-linux-k2l " package for 66AK2LX processors( please open the second link, at the beginning of the second link you should type www ti com , i did not write . between the words because immediately after writing the dots and the full path , a nasty picture appears in this editor I am typing, i do not know why this bad feature has been added for this message editor!! )

I have installed the package by ti named, processor-sdk-linux-k2l( part number=processor-sdk-linux-k2l)

The big question is that why I can not choose 66AK2L06 or 66AK2Lx whatever. I see 66AK2E05, 66AK2H06, 66AK2H12 inside the code composer, Version: 6.1.3.00034.

The package is processor-sdk-linux-k2l and it is for k2l devices but the only SOC I can not see it 66AK2L!! instead I see 66AK2E or 2H!!

Sorry I am not able to understand your problem.
I presume that you are not able to create a CCS projects for your K2L platform right ?

If yes, you have to install emulation package for K2L platform.

I create a CCS project, i right click on its name inside CCS and i choose, properties :
CCS general--->Main--->Device

I want to choose device, there is no 66AK2L06!!

Can you please update the emulation package (keystone 2) using CCS software update tool window ?

It seems that you are using the older versions of McSDK which had a EmuPack folder and it could be updated separately. I do not see emupack among the installed softwares of CCS and when i click on update button of CCS, no EmuPack is suggested to be updated!!
I am using "ti-processor-sdk-linux-k2l-evm-03.00.00.04-Linux-x86-Install_2.bin" which is the latest version recommended for TCI6630K2L and TCIEVMK2LX EVM.

Hi Ali,

If you are looking for CCS projects for K2L, please install "PROCESSOR-SDK-RTOS-K2L".

The processor-sdk-linux-k2l is for Linux developement for ARM a15.

I have installed the latest version of processor-sdk-rtos either by:
ti-processor-sdk-rtos-k2l-evm-03.00.00.04-Linux-x86-Install_2.bin
The link you wrote: software-dl.ti.com/.../index_FDS.html, recommends the same package for 66AK2L06!
But surprisingly after installing it, I do not see 66AK2L device at any list inside CCS!!

Please check under Unclassified devices and set the K2L using the part number TCI6630K2L as shown below:
