TCI6638K2K: Keystone SERDES (PHY-B) Near-end loobpack

Part Number: TCI6638K2K

Hi,

I have used Far-end parallel loopback (LB_FEP) mode on Keystone SERDES.

But I can't set up Near-end serial loopback (LB_NES) mode.

According to SERDES user guide, I am just required to set NES_LB_ENA_O to 0x1 in Lane_000.

In case of LB_FEP, I added the setting sequence inside k2serdes_config() function.

Where should I put the line of setting NES_LB_ENA_O ?

  • Hi,

I just downloaded Keystone U-Boot from Git.

    Hi,

There is an official linux SDK, available here:
    software-dl.ti.com/.../index_FDS.html

Please use this version of u-boot.

    Best Regards,

Thank you, I found from SDK that the description in SERDES user guide of NB_NES configuration is just for PCIe case only. The enabling register for NB_NES should be updated in the document. I succedded in setting NB_NES using SDK function.
