EVMK2H: EVMK2H connections adapter to JTAG emulator XDS560V2

Part Number: EVMK2H

Hello,

Me and my colleagues are currently working on 66AK2H14 DSP + ARM SoC with the EVMK2H Evaluation Module (without XDS200 emulator Area!) working on CCS v6.2.0. We will use XDS560V2 STM TRAVELER JTAG EMULATOR to interact with the SoC EMU[n].

Here is the problem we are facing:

Our problem is that the evaluation module board only supports Male MIPI-60 Pin Header and our JTAG emulator use also a Male connector. (see pictures below)

So an adapter is require (Female/Female MIPI-60 pin header). We searched for it... and doesn't exit ! So two connector are furnished by default in the TRAVELER box and none of which are supported on the EVM (14 pin TI, 20 pin TI, 60 pin TI). What we tried was to transition from Male MIPI-60 into an old connector type into a female MIPI-60 that will be plug to the board. So we look for it  in this table and also directly from spectrum digital website.

So lets try to transition to a 14.20 pin TI using an Female MIPI60 to Male 14/pin 20/pi TI and then connected into the one furnished with the TRAVELER.  This should work in theory but I have read in the "Emulation and Trace Headers technical document" some warning about mixing multiple adapters types.

I also found this one (Female MIPI-60 / Female MIPI 34) but it's not compatible to the EVM connector as soon as it is only MIPI 34 pin adapter and the EVM is a MIPI 60 pin connector.

So I would like to have some feedback from you to know what is the best thing to do regarding those adapter and which one to choose? Also is it possible to imagine connecting on both size this connector furnished with the TRAVELER and connect by hands both of them by following the pin maping.

Thank you in advance for you answers,
