Boot Splash Screen on the DM365

Are there any plans to support displaying a simple splash (e.g., a logo) screen from the u-boot or the early stages of the Linux boot process?

If not, could anyone outline an approach that could be used to implement this?

Hi,

You can refer to this link http://elinux.org/Boot_Time#Splash_Screen_projects , Which is the user space code

for providing splash screen early in the boot sequence.

Now I fixed this problem with modifying DM365 OSD&VENC setting in bootloader.

Hi,

Same as what you did in linux stage.
Enable OSD window and put the splash screen address in RAM to OSDWINxxx register.
