Two simultaneous analog camera interface to DM385

Hi,

I would like to know whether two simultaneous Analog camera can be supported on DM385/DM383 with D1 resolution.We would use TVP5150 (2Ch decoder).

WHAT IF 4 CH IS USED. Can we as well have 4 simultaneous D1 camera interface.?

Hi, VIN port on DM385 actually supports TVP5150/TVP5158 as well.

What kind of product you want to develop? What interface/feature is required?

Hello Eason,

Thanks for the response. Product has two camera with D1 resolution. This can as well be used in CAR DVR POC. We dont need 1080p/720p. There are multiple applications. Question is whether we can really interface 2 cam to TVP5150/DM385 to get both camera stream for processing. We did not see any pixel muxing in this TVP5150.

How do we do this.

Hi,

TVP5150 has 2 inputs but they are muxed to only 1 ADC. Which means TVP5150 is 1 ch decoder.

You can use 2 tvp5150 or 1 tvp5158.
