Starterware/DM388: Change the program as per application

Hi Prashant,

Can you explain what kind of change you want to do ?

The main function for running the application(Tristream Fullfeature) is in the below file

Source/ipnc_rdk/ipnc_mcfw/demos/mcfw_api_demos/multich_usecase/ti_mcfw_ipnc_main.c

The function flow is like

main()->App_runDemo->Vsys_create->MultiCh_createTriStreamFullFtr

Thank you for give me this information. I want to add some sensor, therefore as per our application, we want to do some changes in the program. Can you have any document/ pdf file related to change the program in IPNC_RDK and also give some pdf file actual flow of the program?

Thank you, Sir but we didn't get the 2nd pdf. We searching that file in both the Collaterals folder. We are using IPNC_RDK_3.9.1.

When I am build Source/ipnc_rdk/ipnc_mcfw/demos/mcfw_api_demos/multich_usecase/ti_mcfw_ipnc_main.c file in CCS then I have get a error. I was open that file as it is in CCS and try to build it.

I think this file call another function, therefore, we get an error.
Error: gmake error function.

Can you send me all file location?

I thought you are using IPNC RDK V3.8 where the IPNC_RDK_Sensor_Integration_Guide.pdf is available.
It has been removed from V3.9 , so you will not be able to find this.
If you have IPNC RDK V3.8 then you can refer from there or contact your TI local FAE.
As V3.8 is under license so we can not share this document.

Are you getting the same error while building it with makefiles.
Can you share the steps for building that.

I do not refer any document to building and compiling that file because I didn't get any file regarding programming changes in IPNC_RDK_3.9.1. Also, we would compile the diagnostic project in CCS.
But this time we want to compile only main programming file and I can open that file from CCS as it is and try to build it. But we got a gmake error or same error as I told you before.

process: I can open that file in CCS and directly build it. If I am wrong please guide me.

Hi Prashant,

You will not be able to build that file only because internally that is calling other functions which are in some other files and using some lib, header files. So i will suggest you to build everything using makefiles.

make ipncapp from the top directory ipnc_rdk/ will build the application.

But when I could attach that file (some lib, header file) I got some same name of the file so how can I find that difference?
Can I use makefile.depend file and build the program?

Hi Prashant,

I will suggest you to use makefiles which is present in Source/ipnc_rdk/Makefile.
It will build your all changes in code.
Use make ipncapp command to build your changes done Source/ipnc_rdk/ipnc_mcfw/ directory(ti_mcfw_ipnc_main.c).

Hi Sir,
I need 1 help to solve the error.
I am building ipnc_rdk_maain.c project and I have got 1 error. I didn't understand how can I remove that error because if I was linked all header file and source file then why coming this type of error?
I linked some header file and source file as per the make file.

Error: #148 Declaration is incompatible with "int pthread_mutex_destroy(pthread_mutex_t*)" (declared at line 68 of "/home/ubuntu14_04/ccsv7/tools/compiler/ti-cgr-arm_16.9.0LTS/include/_pthread.h")

When I clicked on above error in CCS then pthread.h file open and they indicate line number 756 which is "extern int pthread_mutex_destroy (pthread_mutex_t*__mutex)"

can you provide the solution for this error?

Building of DM388CSK have not been tested.
So there is not suck document for that.
