OpenMax and framebuffer simultaneous usage

Hello.

It is possible to use linux framebuffer together with OpenMax application ?

I would like to have user interface on top of video, however I am not able to load vpss kernel module

after starting OMX application (I am using SDK 5.00.00.11).

Yes.This usecase is demonstrated in the 'decode_display' OMX example in the latest EZSDK v5.02 available here.

There is an option '-g ' to turn on and off the graphics plane via the FBdev driver which runs simultaneously with video (OMX Video Frame display component) on the same display device.

In SDK 5.0.0.11, this scenario has not been tested. I would recommend moving to the above version.
