I am using DVRRDK_04.01.00.02 with DM8168X_UD_DVR.
how to divided a 4K reslution(3840*2160) H264 video into 4 parts with 1080P(1920*1080) reslution H264 video.

Can you provide more details.

Do you want to decode a 3840x2160 H264 bitstream and then split the output YUV frame into 4 portions of 1920x1080 each ?

Hi,

Not sure if the scaler can handle that resolution in the input, if it does you could use the crop feature, something like:

Passing the 4K stream thru MpSclr will result in scaling the image to 1920x1080.

If you want to avoid this pls use below data flow:

Decode -> Dup (4 output queues) -> Merge (single output queue 4 channels) -> MpSclr -> SWMS

The MpSclr should be configured for forwarding (Link control cmd MP_SCLR_LINK_CMD_SET_HMPCH_FORWARD)

The SwMs should be configured for cropping on HMP stream (Link control cmd SYSTEM_SW_MS_LINK_CMD_SET_HMPCH_INPUT_CROP)

Refer the link API documentation for these cmds for associated param details.

You will still be able to display only 2 potions on the image on 2 1080P displays.

I don't see how you can display the other 2 portions. Can you indicate what you intend to do after spliiting into 4 parts.
