Howto set Vout[0]_clk to 27MHz in u-boot

Hi,

we use DM8168 UdWorks based design.

We have ADV7391 video encoder at VOUT0 as second analog video output.

At startup we want to set the internal colorbars of ADV7391.

I2C settings of ADV7391 can be done in the cmd_logo_816x.c

All we need now is 27 MHz clock at Vout[0]_clk.

How can we set this frequency at this pin in u-boot. Any example availabe for this ?

You could try setting NTSC/PAL mode from sysfs and get the PLL values. These same values you could program in uboot to get the 27MHz..

Hi,

colorbars from ADV7391 are running fine now.

The colorbars from external SII9022 and also from SD video output are OK too.

Now we try to get colorbars also from internal HDMI via DVO1.

I captured the HD_VENC_D_CFG (0x48106000...64) registers if HDMI is initialized from application.

I set the register values in u-boot/common/cmd_logo_816x.c but no colorbar occur via internal HDMI.

Is it possible to modify SII9022 version of cmd_logo_816x.c for internal HDMI?

Hi,

the only reason why we did not see colorbars on HDMI was the LG display we used.

Changing the display (DELL) shows colorbars from cmd_logo_816x.c.
