Notify ARM on OMAP L138 of crash on the C674x

We have a requirement to reboot the DSP in response to certain events in the system, one being a crash on the DSP.  Currently we reboot the host processor if a syslink request does not receive a response within a specified amount of time. We want to change this to reboot just the DSP, ideally using some sort of notification mechanism(syslink or otherwise). How do I go about setting this up?

I was looking for some information here but I don’t see anything relevant. Ideally, there would a be a mechanism that interrupts the ARM on DSP exceptions. The ARM on receiving this interrupt can gracefully shutdown connections and restart the DSP.
