OMAP-L138: Change initial output of eHRPWM to low logic

Part Number: OMAP-L138

Hi,

When I power on my OMAP L138 EVM, without initializing any parameters, the ehrPWM output (pin J15.44) is showing 3.3v on my oscilloscope. This indicates that the OMAP L138 LCDK, by default generates high logic output for its ehrPWM. After I program my code and run it in CCS, I can control the output of ehrPWM.

However, we need to make the default value low. I would like our OMAP L138EVM to generate no signal when its powered on.

Any idea how to achieve this?

Thank you

  • Hi,

Could yo specify which EHRPWM signal do you refer to? Which device pad?

In general if there is no code running & on power up the device pad outputs 3.3V this means that its default reset state is high. This is the way the processor is designed.

Have you checked the EVM schematics to make sure there is no externall pullup on that pad?

    Best Regards,
    Yordan
