Yes or No: OMAP L138's RBL supports ECC on NAND boot?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS320C6748, OMAPL138, OMAP-L138

Please help by carifying the following inconsistency regarding the OMAP L138's ROM Bootloader  (RBL) NAND support.

The wiki page on NAND ECC indicates that there is no ECC support in the L138's RBL.

The hawkboard setup , the RBL user guide and some posts on this forum ( 1 2 3 ) indicate that there is ECC support in the L138's RBL.

Which of these references is correct?

On NAND-only L138 systems, is ECC detection+correction performed by the RBL such that multiple copies of the AIS+UBL image in NAND are sufficient for long-term reliability of boot -- assuming that ECC required by the particular NAND chip is less than or equal to 4bits?
