TMS320C6748: Power ON check Test

Part Number: TMS320C6748

I'm currently working with TMS320C6748 at beginner level.

Actually my doubt is as soon as plug in my power adapter to C6748 develpoment kit , the power LED doesn't turn on , so how do i come to know whether my Board is turned ON or it's still OFF ?

How to check for POWER ON Test ?

Pls suggest some solution !!!

Hi Aagam,

The power LED (D3) indicates whether the board has power supply but if the power LED is OFF but you suspect the is turned ON you can test D3. In case of D3 is damaged it is possible the board to be switched ON but the LED is OFF.
You can also connect a debug console and observe the output but the very first test must be to measure power supply.
The C6748 development kit schematics will be helpful for analyzing power supply issues and you can find it at:

After connecting my adapter , LED (D3)-green and LED(D2)-red blinks but after few seconds and then again turns OFF then again blinks and Turns OFF periodically.
