Is there any suspend mode in C6701 for timers like in C64x

Hi Ranjana,

We won't have suspend mode for timer since timer consume very minimal power.

ok...so even if we put a breakpoint the timer will continue to count without any halt?

yes, it should probably continue the counting. However you can experiment and get it confirmed.
