Customized board of C6713 with minimum size.

Hi friends, I am working on designing of my own customized board of c6713 with minimum ports, memory and size. Actually I need to use this board in my GPS reciever which should have following mechanical specs:

Mass of the unit< 0.1kg

dimensions of GPS reciever should not exceed 50 x 20 x 10 mm

I am knew in designing. So can anyone please recommend me where should I start?Which documents should i study and the softwares available for it.

Hello Muhammad,

Once completed the electrical design, you have to come up with the mechanical modelling of your custom board with required dimensions and find the mass of the unit.

You have to play back and forth between mechanical design and PCB design to arrive at your requirement.

Which interface are you using for GPS receiver device ?
UART or USB ?
For getting the GPS location details, just we need enable the UART/USB interface and open the port then you would get long/lat values.
