LCDK 6748 Kit interface with Microcontroller

Hi,

We want to interfce LCDK 6748 Kit with Microcontroller. we want to take filter audio data from dsp to micro controller.we are choosing SPI Interface.is ther any other way to get 8Khz two filter data from dsp to Micro controller ?

any suggestions pls.

Hi,
I think, we discussed about this already in earlier posts that we can't initiate the 8KHz clock for SPI interface in C6748.
You can try to use some other interface to transfer the data.

Hi Senthil,

I think I2C interface can be an option. It can support lower frequency of about 8Khz by tweaking ICCL and ICCH Registers.

hi,

How can i get the data from dsp to Micro controller? what is the destionation address?

We want to get the 8khz sampled data for two channel 16 bit data from dsp to micro controller.

Hi,
You may have to write code for I2C slave on microcontroller.
You can also consider UART interface.

in UART Interface ,the BW is enough for tramsfer 8Khz 16 bit 2 channel data?
