Dear Friends,

Does the TMDSLCDK6748 has onboard debugger for code download and some simple code debugging, such as breakpoint, single step, etc.

I purchased the board and don't have any standalone emulator, just want to know if the board support some quick tryout without emulator.

Hi Bin,

No, TMDSLCDK6748 does NOT have an onboard debugger. You need external emulator.

The XDS100v2 and above will support the LCDK6748, but you will need to make sure you buy one with the 14-pin header to be compatible.

The newer TMDSEMU110-U replaces the XDS100v2 and is delivered with a set of adapters to connect to any of the more common TI device JTAG headers. It includes the 14-pin connector that you will need for the LCDK6748.
