About Software Migration issue from C5000 to C6000

Hi Sir 

we used DSP TMS320VC5502  300MHz with Assembly code and would like to do Software Migration from C5000 to C6000 platform

PS: CCS  3.3.38.2 and the generation code size is about 700KB

1. Does TI have any document about how to do software migration or can offer the suggestion ? 

2. If we want to add below feature, does TI have any suggestion?

    EtherNet、EtherCat、can、usb

    Thank you for your interest in TI products.
    We do not have a C5000 to C6000 migration guide. These are very different ISAs with very little in common. Most legacy customers on c55x are typically also using c55x assembly , which make migration over to c6000 a little challenging.

    The newer c55x devices are c5505/15/35/45 and C5517 , which are supported with latest CCS and have latest/greatest CSL software.

    If C55x family is not suitable for your next generation the next best device to consider would be c674x and OMAPL1x family.


    If you are looking for Ethernet , EtherCAT, CAN, USB support , I recommend looking at the Sitara product family
