Memory leak check tool on dra7xx

Has anyone tried memory leak checking tool like valgrind (dra7xx-j6EVM GLSDK 3.00.00.03) on kernel 4.4.14.

Please let us know recommended one.

Hi,

I've managed to get the kmemleak working for TI kernels. Valgrind should also be supported.

Valgrind has been tried and it is working on the Processor SDK Linux Automotive 3.00.00.03.

Exported $PATH with toolchain path
Cross compilation with Valgrind-3.10.0 giving below error with toolchain:

cd to Valgrind-3.10.0

$configure --host=arm-linux-gnueabihf
....
./configure: line 3841: ./conftest: cannot execute binary file: Exec error
...

Hi Kautubh,

I would suggest you to:

1. Comment out confftest, which is actually cross-compiled for arm, but getting executed(which will fail).
2. Also host expected is armv7 inside the configure, but with your configure command, it would parse arm, instead of armv7. Fix these two as a workaround, you will be able compile.
