Linux/AM3352: Disable EEPROM read

Hi TI Experts,

Please let me confirm the following question.

[Question]
Would you please teach me the way to boot up the custom board by using the latest SDK(v3.03)?
I understand that the SPL stage read the external EEPROM on EVM. But custom board does not used EEPROM. So, I would like to know the way to disabled the read EEPROM function without any problem.

Kaka,

Remove TI_I2C_BOARD_DETECT from the below file:
ti-processor-sdk-linux-am335x-evm-03.03.00.04/board-support/u-boot-2016.05/arch/arm/cpu/armv7/am33xx/Kconfig

Then make sure that do_board_detect() function from the below files is NOT executed

u-boot-2016.05/arch/arm/cpu/armv7/am33xx/board.c
u-boot-2016.05/board/ti/am335x/board.c

Check also if ti_i2c_eeprom_am_get() and ti_i2c_eeprom_am_set() are NOT executed

u-boot-2016.05/board/ti/am335x/board.c
u-boot-2016.05/board/ti/common/board_detect.c

Please have a try with this approach. Note that if you are not able to boot, then some I2C EEPROM hard coding should be done, see the below e2e threads for more info:
