    Hi,

    Typically we see these diodes fail short, but this is not always the case. Unfortunately, there is no way of predicting how they will fail; this has many factors to account for and each case is different. TI can only guarantee the device will not break when used in conjunction with the recommended operating conditions of the device. There is no way of providing the customer with a particular failure mode. I hope this helps.
