TVS3300: Could you tell me about TVS3300 ?

Hi team.

I’m promotion the TVS3300 now for new demand.

TVS3300 is also recommended for replacing Zener diodes, but how much watt (rated power) is equivalent by a Zener diode?

Please teach me.

    The TVS3300 is primarily designed for protection against IEC 61000-4-5 surge or lightning transients, but it can also be used as a zener replacement in some applications. We recommend the device be kept at below 500mW DC dissipation to limit the possibility of overheating, however the performance is very different in the different package options. For more specifics, look at the junction to ambient thermal characteristics and ensure that the DC dissipation won't move the junction temperature above the maximum specified junction temperature.
