TL16C2550 clock pulse duration

Hello,

I have a question regarding the TL16C2550 datasheet from November 2012.
The maximum clock frequency for 3.3V can be found on page 11 to be 20 MHz.
The minimum pulse duration for high ist 20ns and for low is 62ns (page 13).
With these minimum pulse durations I calculate a maximum frequency of about 12.2 MHz.

These two maximum frequencies differ from each other. I suppose the 20 MHz is the right value, but I would like to know the minimum pulse duration of the LOW clock.

Hello,

Are you using a Oscillator or Crystal input clock?

As far as I know the TL16C2550 supports up to 20Mhz when the clock source is an Oscillator and the data from the table corresponds to an Crystal Input Clock. I am checking with the design team on this question. We'll reply back once we have reviewed it.

The minimum pulse duration (clock low) is 30 ns.

Thank you for pointing this out, it appears to be a error on the datasheet so we will fix it ASAP.
