Hi Kerr,

Are you looking for a DP/DP++ redriver or a DP++ to HDMI level shifter?

DP141, TUSB546, and TDP158(DP mode) can be used as DP/DP++ redriver

DP139, DP149, DP159, and TDP158 can be used as DP++ to HDMI level shifters

You have to select the right device depending on the application and supported data rate.

I just need DP++ redriver , but my system did not have Cable Detect.
so I can not use DP130 , we want use DP141 for data redriver. but I need DP++ input.

Hi Kerr,

If the system doesn't have CAD signal, this is going to be a DP application(not DP/DP++).
If DP130 doesn't use CAD just connect a 1M pull-down on CAD_SNK and leave CAD_SRC floated.

Hi Kerr,

CAD signal is config1 in DP connector.
Could you elaborate on this application is it connecting to DP or HDMI displays?
If it is intended for DP displays, is it intended to work with HDMI display through passive adapters?
