TCA8418E Sample Code

We are having some issues with the TCA8418E keypad controller.  We are using the TIVA C series.

Is there any sample code/psudeo code available (Maybe for the MSP430)?  Sometimes we get two keys pressed for the same key and sometimes it misses a key.  Just want to verify we have the logic correct.
