Can Vin exceed VCCA for 74AVC2T244

Hi,

I am looking at translating a signal from 1.2V to 3.3V using the 74AVC2T244. I need to detect when a 1.2V signal rises above 1V. In the datasheet it states that for VCCA of 0.9-1.4V, the Vih (that turns on the output) is 0.9 of VCCA. I want to power the 74AVC2T244 from an available 1.1V supply. This will give me:

0.9*1.1V=0.99V Vih

If the input to the pins of the 74AVC2T244 rise above the VCCA rail of 1.1V, but do not exceed 1.5V, is that damaing to the 74AVC2T244? The spec lists the VCC range for the part 0.9-3.6V which I am not exceeding.

Thanks
