SPI Bus Isolation using 2 TXB0104 chips

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TXB0104

Hi,

I have a requirement in which I want to convert the SPI bus from 3.3V to 1.8V or 3.3V to 5V. I am planning to use 2 TXB0104 chips to achieve this. Please refer to my diagram below:

I have provided both the image and attached the pdf file.

Now my concern is when I am operating on Bus 1 and Bus 2 (refer file attached), I want to totally disconnect or isolate Bus 3 and Bus 4 and vice-versa. In order to achieve this, I want to use the /OE line. To disable Bus 3 and Bus 4, will it completely isolate the SPI signals when /OE = GND for bottom chip and keep Bus 1 and Bus 2 active with /OE = VCCA for top chip and vice versa?

Regards,

Vineet.
