TXB0108 Voltage

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TXB0108, TXB0304, SN74AVC8T245

Hi Team,

We are using a TXB0108 level shifter in a design and it wasn't until after we had built units that we realized that the TXB0108 datasheet says that VCCA should not exceed VCCB.  Our application requires that VCCA can be either 2.0V or 3.3V, while VCCB is always 2.7V.

Can you explain what effects we will see when VCCA exceeds VCCB?  We are primarily using the part for level shifting <16MHz SPI.

Also, if you know of any drop-in replacements that don't have this requirement, that would be helpful!

Thanks for your help,

Nabeel
