SN74LVC8T245 - 1uF capacitance on the VCCB side

Hi all,

Would you mind if we ask SN74LVC8T245?

There is 1uF capacitance on only the VCCB side as the datasheet P14.
What is it used for?(bypass capacitor?)
Is it better to add on the VCCA side?

Hirotaka,

This app note details the necessity and benefits of bypass capacitors. I believe that having an array of bypass capacitors (e.g. 0.01 uF, 0.1 uF, 1 uF, etc) can permit filtering supply noise to GND over a wider bandwidth.

Installing the 1uF on VCCA and VCCB would be best.
