DP83867CR: I believe documentation is slightly incorrect

Part Number: DP83867CR

Hello.

I try to design some simple project using this part. I got the latest datasheet for it (revision e). The devise is in RGZ Package and i try to use RGMI mode.

The question is in signal TX_EN / TX_CTRL and  its type. It stated as O - Output. I think it should be input.

Here is the support for such conclusion:

1. RX_DV / RX_CTRL has O type. These RX and TX signals in RGMI configuration can't be both output.

2. On the document on page 26 we have functional diagram. As u can see the scheme clearly shows that TX_EN / TX_CTRL has arrow pointing inside the device (should be input)

3. MAC layer datasheet for my MCU says that TSECn_RX_DV is input. So RX_DV / RX_CTRL - Output, TSECn_RX_DV - Input: correct. At the same time TSECn_TX_EN is output type So the TX_EN / TX_CTRL  should be input. Not output.

Please clarify.

Have a great day.
